5th World Age Groups - Sheffield 2019 - Representing Great Britain (Bulletin 247)
On August 15th 2019, the opening ceremony of the 5th World Age Groups will be taking place in Sheffield. The day after the tournament will begin and one of those very rare opportunities to represent your country on home soil with the chance to win a medal.
However before that date there are a few things that need to happen.
1. We need some coaches.
On 4th November 2017 in Leeds there will be a national squads meeting from 1800-2200 (location tba) where coaching and managing positions for Great Britain representatives at Sheffield 2019 World Age Groups will be voted on.
The successful applicants would be expected to be at the first age group weekend at John Charles Centre for Sport two weeks later on the 18/19 November 2017.
The positions to be voted on are:
Great Britain Under 23 Ladies Coach
Great Britain Under 23 Mens Coach
Great Britain Under 19 Ladies Coach
Great Britain Under 19 Mens Coach
Great Britain Ladies Age Group Manager
Great Britain Mens Age Group Manager
In addition to these posts there are opportunities for assistant coaches to be used if requested by coaches. If this interests you please also use the email at the bottom of this post.
For Sheffield we would also like to trial the use of fitness coaches and nutrionists. As said above please contact the email below to discuss this.

All applicants must be BOA members to be eligible for the role.
Once the applications have been received further instructions will be released to prospective candidates.
2. We need the fittest and best team possible.
To fill a team we need players, if you are between the ages of 14 and 22 on 2nd January 2019 then we would like for you to trial for Team GB.
