To assist our youngsters in bridging the gap between junior club level and international level hockey, it is hoped to run some extra Under-19 sessions out in the regions and help to generate some players / teams for each GB 'home nation' in the Home Internationals and beyond.
We are hoping to find people in various regions who would be willing to run a session for these juniors. The teams that this may create can then enter any Under-19 competitions, the Home Internationals and one day maybe be considered for the GB team.
The committee have therefore pre-approved some funding which can be use to make these sessions a success in various regions.
Anyone interested in running or attending one of these sessions should contact the Sport Development Officer or the U-19 Coaching Team.
