"On Saturday 7 January 2012 we are hosting an 'Open Afternoon' event at our new flagship centre Jubilee2 - a superb new health and well-being centre with a 25 metre pool, junior pool, dance studios, spa, climbing wall, boulders and lateral climbing facility.
We have Nick Gillingham MBE, the Double Olympic medallist and World Champion and record holding swimmer, coming along as well as David Moorcroft MBE OBE, the record-breaking middle distance runner. They will be our official guests and they are going to be using the pool and the gym with residents and visitors for a short time during the afternoon.
We are inviting all residents to come along and enjoy the facilities for free between 1pm and 4pm on the day and I would like to invite you along too.
Nick Gillingham has offered to jump in the pool with the other swimmers and it would be wonderful for us to have an Octopush game going on during the afternoon at some point as well  2.30pm . Is this something that you would be interested in?  Could you organise that for us? "

Jubillee 1 is being replaced by Jubilee 2. Build is underway at an adjoining site behind the current building. The new pool will be part of the "Health and Wellbeing Centre" which is due for completion late in 2011.

The main pool is 25m by 17m (8 lanes), 1.1m depth, flat for for the first 4m, ramping to 2m depth, flat for 4m.

The tiles are now laid with markings for Octopush. pairs of tiles are replaced grey, for centre and penalty spot and at points inside the penalty area curve.
