Six Rochdale players in action with the Manchester C Team, Mick Hyde, Jacob Redmond, Becci Northover, Ella Tomlinson, Adam Thetford and Sophie Redmond.
First match we beat Yorkshire C in a very close match, 4-3 final score.
Second match against Liverpool/Lancaster Uni was a little easier. Despite having 2 players sent to the sin bin, we managed an 11-1 win.
Third game was against Oxford, tough game, but our team work in the first half combined with grit and determination in the second half saw us finish as 5-3 victors.
Fourth game was a very physical tense game, while Skipton were never in front, they drew with level with us 2 minutes from the end, final score 4-4.
Last game was against York who were still in contention for a medal, we thought this would be a close game, but their players were running on empty and they only had one substitute. We played well with some great team work, particularly on the strikes and our advantage pucks. Final score was 8-1 to Manchester and that secured us the trophy with 4 wins and one draw.
