Payment Deadline
The final date for payment of the team registration fee is 15/09/2026
The tournament will be conducted under the following format:
Single Round Robin
Final placings based on points after the Round Robin (followed by usual BOA rules)
The following playoff games will determine promotion and demotion at the end of the day:
Div 1 Seed 7 vs Div 2 Seed 1
Div 2 Seed 7 vs Div 3 Seed 1
Div 3 Seed 7: Automatically demoted to Div 4 (as Division 4 competes on a different weekend).
Setup Requirements
Based on previous events at Ponds Forge, the BOA requires the following volunteer support to ensure the pool is set up efficiently within our allocated timeframes:
Dryside Equipment Movers (x14): Required from 19:30 on Friday, 9th October. Volunteers may leave once all equipment is positioned poolside.
In-Water Equipment Movers (x8): Required from 20:15 on Friday, 9th October. Volunteers may leave once barriers, goals and subs ropes are positioned in the water.
Divers (x8): Required from 20:15 on Friday, 9th October.
Teams in Divisions 1 and 2 must provide two representatives to assist with setup. The following teams are exempt from this requirement for this event:
TSW A
TSW B
Pembroke A
As Division 3 are playing in the 2m court without barriers, they are exempt from setup requirements.

Refereeing Requirements
As the final number of non-playing officials is yet to be confirmed, all teams must be prepared to provide two people (one in-water referee and one timekeeper/scorer) to officiate the match immediately following their own game.
The BOA Chief National Referee is seeking additional volunteers. If you are available to officiate, please indicate your interest on the Spond event or contact referee@gbuwh.co.uk.
Important Pool Safety Announcement
In accordance with requirements from, Ponds Forge the following mandatory safety rules regarding the presence of non-playing minors on the poolside. The following mandatory rules must be observed at all future BOA events:
All non playing minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
Supervising adults must not be in the water whilst responsible for a minor
Non-playing minors are not allowed in the pool at any time (including putting feet in the pool)
Competition Attendees and their minors are not allowed in the Leisure Pool
