Season Review
I have put in an awful lot of time this year to make the competitions as competitive and fun as possible going from the bottom of the pyramid all the way up to the top. I hope you have enjoyed the competitions and hope to see you again for the next season.

Current Plans
My main aim for the time being is to try and engage with club officers far earlier than has previously been done, with this in mind alot of people reading this bulletin will have already been contacted about Nautilus 2012, National Preliminaries and National Qualifiers
For the next few years there will be 5 seperate flagship competitions:-
- Nautilus
If your team has not been contacted about this tournament and you wish to enter please contact me at comp (at) gbuwh (dot) co (dot) uk to advise me of what team you are. This contact needs to happen before 1st September 2012.
- Ladies Nationals
This will be a 12 or 16 team tournament, details to be sent out in October or November. I will be hoping that the Ladies will return the favour of officiating at the National Qualifiers after only getting 4 volunteers from the 120 players who entered last year.
- National Preliminaries (new competition to be held in February 2013)
If your team has not been contacted about this tournament and you wish to enter please contact me at comp (at) gbuwh (dot) co (dot) uk to advise me of what team you are. The closing date for entries is 1st October 2012.
- National Qualifiers
The Top 18 teams from last years qualifiers have automatically qualified for this years competition. Any other teams wishing to enter must qualify in the Top 6 of the National Preliminaries which will be held in February 2013.
- National Finals
The top 12 from the Qualifiers will compete for the National Plate and the National Title
Volunteers
From my experience the best tournaments are those which run very smoothly because there are enough volunteers to make sure all the little but vitally important things are taken care of.
This is a humble request for players, referees, coaches or parents who do not necessarily play compeitively if they would be willing to donate a maximum 4 days per year in order to help your fellow players have maximum enjoyment from there tournament experiences.
