Playing-up Consent
Required if a child wishes to play in a BOA competition, and is invited to "play-up", typically in an upper age category, for instance an U14 eligible player would play in an U16 or U19 category, this is optional and can be selected at any time prior to an event, but cannot be rescinded. It should also be acknowledged that there are inherent risks playing alongside and against players who are further along the phyicial development process
NB, consent is not available until a child reaches a minimum of 13 years old.
Photographic Consent
Required to allow photos and videos of a child, either individually or in a group to be used by the BOA for promotional purposes, including but not limited to being published online via our website and social media channels.
